Approach.

The services that I offer are completely customized, starting from scratch with every athlete. When an athlete signs up for coaching with me, we start with:


DESIGN
1. GoalsWhat does the client want to achieve in fitness and in the upcoming race season?
2. LimitersWhat issues does the person currently have that may prevent him/her from reaching those goals? This could include a lack of a skill, time constraints, equipment needs, etc.
3. ObjectivesWe determine the steps necessary to knock out the limiters and work towards the goals.
EXECUTE
4. Annual Training PlanThis includes a list of A, B and C races (graded by aggressiveness of goals) and the training phases that build up to those races. We start with the current or upcoming season, and later work on a long-term plan.
5. Weekly CalendarThe schedule is designed to fit into the client's life, maintaining a balance and allowing for recovery.
MONITOR
6. Monthly MeetingI meet with every client once a month, in person or on the phone. During this meeting, we will go over data from the past month, updates to the race calendar, and talk through any questions that we have for eachother. We may incorporate this meeting in with a training session.
7. CommunicationThe Training Peaks software generates an e-mail when clients log their workouts. I can respond to the log with comments, kudos, and questions. I encourage much detail when they log, providing me with information for analysis.
